Alright, fella. It's me. Just went down to that shop and had a butchers. Tried a couple: the cheap Squire models, which I wasn't very keen on, then a Fender or two, which surprisingly I didn't like either. The only one that spoke to me was this red Sterling number. Never heard the name before, but was tres comfortable and sounded delicious. Looks like the one in your picture actually. Is it the same? Anyway, I got him down to 23 (or maybe 24) big ones, but still a bit more than I can really permit myself. About ten grand too much really. What did you pay for yours (presuming it's the same one)?
