I see a lot of new people have been arriving in Taiwan.  I have been in Taiwan for almost exactly 8 years. Learning Chinese was difficult at first but undoubtedly led to the best relationships and opportunities I've had.  Learning Chinese can help you better understand your students' difficulties, open up your ability to explore Taiwan independently, and build relationships you would never get purely in English.

English may be the global language, but when you find yourself in the southern part of Taiwan, you may have difficulty getting by with just English. Do you know how to ask for directions, say your phone number, and order food or drinks?

If the answer is no, come spend 1 or 2 hours with us, over a cup of coffee, Angel will guide you through Mandarin 101 so you can survive and thrive here in Kaohsiung!
