    Due to my working hours I cant use the bin truck near me. Im sure other people have had the same problem.

    What can I do!? How else can I get rid of my rubbish/recycling?

    There are usually more than one a day.
    In my area there are three. The last one at 10 pm. The routes however are slightly different.

    The routes and times are different in my area. I've gotten to memorize the times and location for the trash trucks both near and far from my home just so that I'll have a variety of times to drop off my trash and not be succumbed only to the 9pm truck outside my house. Heck, I've ridden my scooter all the way to work in the afternoon with my trash just so I can throw it in the truck that goes there in the afternoon 8-}

    @JonYounghusband as for the recycle's, we usually just set our recycles outside our home in the mornings and the old ladies/men riding along with their bicycles are more than happy to come and take it with them.

    Hmmm, I could see that being a hassle.

    Here's an idea! One time I missed the truck and the security guard for my building offered to take my garbage for me. He's offered to take my garbage all the time to help me out, but I don't mind catching the truck myself.

    I've got a friend who pays his building security guard around $150 a month and he transfers his garbage to him anytime it's convenient.

    In other words, maybe you could pay someone a small fee that lives or works in your area to deposit your garbage in the truck the same time that they are depositing theirs!
