Schools are looking for Certified K-12 Teachers for the academic year
2012-2013~

Position Information:

Contract
period - August 1, 2012 – July 31, 2013, renewable

Curriculum - ESL
(collaborating-teaching involved)

Working hour: Mon-Fri 8am-4:00pm, 21-23 class weekly; 40-50 min per class (vary in accordance
with school)

• Monthly salary $60890 NTD (around
  $2083 USD)
  -Monthly costs of living (food, rent, transportation,
  etc.) in Taiwan is around 700-900 USD, depends on how you spend
  money 

  
  

• Monthly housing subsidy$ 5000 NTD
  (around $170 USD)
  -General rent is around $6000-12000NTD (around
  $200-400 USD)

  
  

• Performance bonus- Around one
  month salary, by proportion of actual working months

  
  

• Paid vacation-Winter vacation and

• Labor and health
  insurance-Available

  
  

• Tax - The tax rate for the first
  183 days in one taxable year is 18 %. The tax rate would drop lower
  to around 6 % after the completion of 183 days. Foreign tax payers
  would only be eligible for tax refund when their overall stay is

Qualifications:

• Native-speaker from U.S.A., U.K.,
  Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland 
• Minimum Education: 4 years
  Bachelor's degree
• has a state-government-issued
  teaching license from their home country
  -Dept. of Education/Certificate of Teacher Registration / Graduate
  Diploma in Education
  Certificate /QTS/SACE/NZ Teaching Council Certificate/Irish Teaching
  Council Registration,
  etc.
